Like I’m talking to someone who lives only 3 hours from me. My parents basically hate my life now. I don’t even know why. But how did your parents take it?

yup…they really weren’t for it. Her’s hated me outright. needless to say, it didnt work for me. Granted we were several states apart…

My parents were pretty accepting, surprisingly. They do worry about the stress it may have but other than that they are supportive.

I haven’t had a long distance relationship. But my friend has and her parents hated him, even after he moved to be closer.
